OSS&E

TCS Design and Management Services is the industry leader in the implementation, management, and sustainment of the Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) process as defined in MIL-HDBK-514.  TCS has been involved with OSS&E from its inception, and played a vital role in the development of the current publications used in the OSS&E process.  In addition, TCS personnel have worked closely with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Aeronautical Service Center Engineering Personnel (WPAFB-ASC/EN), in refining the requirements, editing documents, and implementing changes in both the airworthiness criteria, and the OSS&E process.

Currently, TCS manages the OSS&E program for Warner Robins Aeronautical Logistics Center, Special Operations/Combat Search and Rescue System Programs Office (WR-ALC/LU), and the weapons systems that they maintain (AC-130H, MC-130E/H/P, HC-130P/N, MH-53J/M, HH-60G, and UH-1N).

TCS personnel have specialized training in the certification process required by OSS&E, including Airworthiness Certification, GATM/NAV Certification, SEEK EAGLE Certification, Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum Certification, DOD AIMS IFF Certification, and a dozen other requirements mandated to be certified by Fiscal Year (FY) 05 by the Secretary of the Air Force.  TCS personnel have the experience, training, knowledge, and capability to manage the OSS&E process for your directorate or company, either on a long-term sustainment basis, or TCS can provide the necessary training to assist with OSS&E compliance.

TCS has the most competitive rates in the industry, while still delivering superior service to the customer.  Let us be your source for OSS&E.  For a briefing on the OSS&E process, or to inquire about pricing, please contact Monty Benenhaley, TCS Program Manager, at (478) 328-8537, ext. 111.
